Think

“I think I love you.”
“Think?”
“Not good enough?” Asked John.
Laura shook her head.

John tried again.

“I’m in love with you…” A smile formed on Laura’s face. It vanished when John added,
“… I think.”

Laura sighed.

“Do you love her or not?”
“I have no idea.”
“What?”
“I’ve never been in love. I’ve no frame of reference.”

Laura smiled.

“How do you feel when you see her?”
“Confused.”
“Confused?”
“Wrong answer?”
“Wrong answer.”

“I wish you’d just screw me like my other clients John.”

“I couldn’t do that to you. I like you.”

“You like me?”

“I think.”
